Do you feel dismayed by the fact that you have failed miserably at a major assessment whilst your friends managed to score exceedingly well on it ? Do you feel like it's the end of the world and your chances of getting anywhere in life are hampered forever? Don't think on the extreme lines. History is filled with  examples of famous people such as Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Wright brothers who failed at the start of their careers, but their diligence and passion for their goals made them high achievers.  




Where did you go off the track?

Do you have a tendency of playing blame games and censuring the circumstances for your failures? Stop holding other people and external situations for your pitfalls. If there is an instance where you have failed, the best approach is to be proactive rather than indulging in self-pity. You should analyze your shortcomings by asking yourself a basic question" Where did I go wrong"? 

 

Alternative approach

Soon after you have gauged where you went off the track, the best thing to do is to list down how things can be done differently the next time. If you keep doing what you have done now, there is a likelihood, that you will keep getting the same results. We reckon that it's the last thing you want, isn't it? 

 

Your key learning's from the failure

After having analyzed different approaches to resolve the challenge, reflect upon the key learning from your present failure. It must have made you a stronger person who is more aware of his surroundings. If you take your failure constructively, you will find that it is bound to edify you in various aspects of your life.
